The LaSalle Public Library will once again be hosting AARP Tax Assistance Appointments this tax season.

Registration for these appointments will open up at 10am on Monday, January 5th, and can be made in the building, or by calling the library at (815) 223-2341 during operating hours. Appointments are first come, first serve, and there are limited spots available.

These appointments will run every Tuesday from February 10th-April 7th from 10am-2:15pm. Registration is required for an AARP volunteer to meet with you. After an appointment is made, patrons will need to stop into the library to pick up intake paperwork prior to their reserved appointment time. Patrons must then bring their filled out paperwork, a Photo ID, last year's taxes, and their bank information with them to their reserved appointment.

Any cancellations should be made as soon as possible and cannot be undone. Library staff are not tax experts and will not be providing any tax advice, but can help you obtain tax forms. Any mistreatment towards library staff or AARP volunteers will not be tolerated.
