Board of Trustees
The LaSalle Public Library is a city library serving the residents of LaSalle. The LaSalle Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of up to nine members. Below you will find information on the members of the board, dates for upcoming Library Board and Committee meetings, and ways to contact the library.
Our Library is a City Library and is run by a Board of Trustees. The Board meets 10 times a year.
| Jo-Ann Benassi | Role: President | Jo-Ann Benassi is our Board-elected president. She is in charge of overseeing the meetings and maintaining communication between the board and the director. |

| Joe Jeppson | Role: City Hall Representative | Joe Jeppson is our City Hall representative, acting as an advocate for the Library. He is also on the Finance Committee. |
| Dan Churney | Role: Vice President | Dan Churney is the Vice President of our board. He is in charge of meetings when the President is not available. |
| James Collins | Role: Treasurer | James Collins is the Treasurer for our board. He is in charge of keeping the yearly audit work on track and assisting with the yearly budget meeting. James is also a member of the Finance Committee. |
