On June 12th, at 6pm, the LaSalle Public Library will be welcoming a representative from the LaSalle County Historical Society to share their presentation on the local Radium Girls. This program will offer an in-depth look at the local history of the numerous women who contracted Radium poisoning from their time working at both Radium Dial and Luminous Processes in Ottawa, Illinois.
