The LaSalle Public Library offers two D&D groups that alternate week to week.

Slayer's Call is our combat focused D&D group. This group focuses on combat encounters with lots of enemies and challenging boss fights. It is for all ages and is recommended for new and/or younger players.

Explorer's Call features a healthy mix of exploration, puzzle solving, and character roleplay, with the occasional combat encounter as well. This group provides a more well-rounded gameplay experience that can be overwhelming or unentertaining for younger players. Recommended age for this group is 13+.

If you've ever been curious about the game, these groups are the perfect opportunity to get started. Snacks, drinks, and all materials are provided for these groups, but personal dice are welcome! The game is free to join. Newcomers are encouraged to come up to 30 minutes early so our DM can help you create your character!
